Shadowboxer: Hit lady Mirren and her companion Gooding have an irregular personal and virtuoso relation, however he’s unprepared for her to make the decision she does when proposed with a task that requires her to shoot a young pregnant woman. The 2 megastars are at their extremely best in this highly unconventional, vicious sleeper, best taken as stylized storytelling and not as a cut of genuine life. Marigold: Offensive grade-B Hollywood actress (”I don’t do ‘thankful’ extremely well,” she admits) goes to India to make a film, only to find that the production has fallen aside. Before long she’s employed to partake in a Bollywood film, and a reciprocal enchantment grows between her and the handsome choreographer. Cast includes Ali Larter, Salman Khan, Nandana Sen, Ian Bohen, Helen Khan, Suchitra Pillai, and Shari Watson. (112 minutes, 2007)

Hold Back Tomorrow: This is another of Haas’ oddball cheaply made dramas. This one is about a condemned killer who weds a gal on the day before he is put to death. Cast includes Cleo Moore, John Agar, Frank de Kova, Harry Guardino, and Jan Englund. (75 minutes, 1955)

The Black Orchid: Concocted soaper of bumbling businessman (Quinn) courting mafia widow (Loren) and the complication of persuading their youngsters that matrimony can make all their lives more superior. Cast includes Sophia Loren, Anthony Quinn, Ina Balin, Jimmie Baird, (Peter) Mark Richman, Naotni Stevens, and Frank Puglia. (1959 minutes, 96)
